I may not be able to takeaway the heartache or anger you might feel towards a retrospective other, but one thing I can tell you is that you are not alone.
Apparently January really is the worst month in regards to not only relationships but altering mood levels.
Due to hardships like shorter days due to no sun, cold weather, no cash (because of the Christmas Splurge) and the lack of going out or exercising we are destined to become more depressed during the month of January.
If you are in a relationship the average amounts of arguments during January rise to eight minutes a day spent arguing with your other half.
Two thirds of couples tend to break up at the start of the year as part of a New Years Resolution and others break up after arguuing triples in the relationship causing too much strain and stress.
This is all due to a psychological problem called “cabin fever” experienced by most people around the Winter months.
This is lack of sunlight and exercise that leaves us feeling lethargic and depressed making us irritable and stressed.
If you add financial issues and spending too much time cooped up with a partner, the likeliness of a strain being cast on your relationship is highly likely.
Although it does not make the situation any nicer, it is one thing to know that there are others out there who are going through the same thing as you.
However it does make me want to avoid January all together-horrible month that it is!
